We have had the greatest time at
Silver Springs State Park near Ocala, Florida.
But it is time to head to our next adventure…
Hillsborough Park State Park just north of Tampa, Florida.
We stayed at Hillsborough SP last year
so we would be close to the Florida RV Supershow.
We liked our stay so much,
it was a no brainer to return this year!!
However,
we had no idea when we made the reservations
that we would be in the market for
OUR NEW HOME :o))))
About 10am, we left Silver Springs
and
headed south on Rt 301 to Rt 471 through the Green Swamp.
It was a quick and easy trip to Hillsborough SP.
We arrived just after noon.
As we pulled into Site 13,
Gin and Syl had arrived on Sunday.
We had no sooner got set up ...
when Sherry and David pulled in next to us on Site 11.
I think Sherry is still on ‘Monkey’ overdose!!
Sherry wanted to show us just how much fuel it took
to fill up Winona.
Now that is one BIG receipt ;o))
After dinner,
we all gathered at Gin & Syl’s for a campfire.
It was so much fun to tell Howard and Linda Payne,
who really inspired our decision to go full-timing again,
that....
WE HAD SOLD THE HOUSE!!
Unfortunately, Nancy came without a camera.
But rest assured there was lots of hollering and hugging!!!
This should be a fun few days 0f
Kayaking,
Hiking,
Geocaching
and
RV Shopping
to keep us busy :o))
Always fun meeting up with RV friends and fellow bloggers. Good luck on your RV shopping we are doing the same.
