All's Well - Tuesday - August 14, 2012

This will be short and sweet:o))  Baby is feeling much better.  She has been at the Spa all day and we finally drove her back to the campground at 6:30 this evening.  It is a long story and Bill will blog about it real soon.  But for now, it basically was $23.00 worth of parts that shut her engine down!!

What does $23.00 worth of parts look like?!?!?

It was too late to drive to Huntington Beach tonight.  So we are staying one more night, by ourselves, at Spring Valley RV Park.  Also, H&H Freightliner would like us to take Baby out on I95 and run her a bit, then stop and let them check that all systems are working properly. We will do that early tomorrow and then head to the beach:o))

Thanks to all for your care and concern!!

  3. I used to work for a man who wouldn't fly in planes, he always took trains. He said it was a 10 cent part that would cause a plane to crash.

Looks like it only took a little more $$$ to stop Baby. Glad to see that the repair is done and I'm glad to see the FL shop going to do a quality control check of the repair. That's a sign of a good shop.

  8. Glad Baby bounced back so quickly and that the service center will do a follow-up on her tomorrow. That should give you extra reassurance when you head back down the road. Safe travels.

  12. Glad it was only $23 and not $2300 worth of parts! Now I'm sure the labor costs will be a bit more, but insurance will take care of it.
