Leaving Murrells Inlet at Sunrise.
Our son Brian and his wife Chris were also going to be there so our entire family was having Christmas together. To get in the holiday spirit we played Christmas music the entire trip.
OK – we’re ready!
Arriving at our daughter’s house.
Our son just got a new car…a Cube!!
We brought a grab bag of silly little gifts.
Everyone gets to open something.
There also was a little Ladder Ball competition going on.
Our son, Brian
and
Grandson, Andrew
in their team jerseys!!
Do they look alike or what!?!?!
While the ladies got dinner ready,
The girls tried to teach me how to use their electronic games,
but I’ll leave that to the 4 and 6 year olds.
We had our traditional Christmas dinner
with ham, turkey and all the fixin’s on
Saturday rather than Sunday
since Brian and Chris had to leave
Christmas morning to visit Chris’ family.
After gorging ourselves,
we went for a long walk to view the Christmas lights…
Even I got to open a very special package…
I believe I know what I will have for breakfast;o))
But first, we needed to get to bed early....
We know the grandchildren will be up
bright and early Christmas morning!!!
What a lovely day before Christmas you had with such a wonderful family. That's a lot of folks for one house. Your exterior illuminations beat mine for sure. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're headin' south this week-end. See you when you get there !!! Can't wait!
How nice to have your whole family together for Christmas! What a joyful occasion you had. Loved the smiles on all the kids faces (and Grandpops, too!)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! We're praying that this year you'll be on the road (and quickly).
What fun! It's times like these that give us memories to last forever. Kids at this age are so much fun! All too soon they are teenagers and off they go! Glad your whole family was able to get together. That makes it even more special :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Love the family pictures. Christmas is great when there is small children around (especially grands!). Here's hoping that 2012 is profitable for the Mills :)
ReplyDeleteChristmas just is not the same without kids. Thanks for sharing yours :)
ReplyDeleteBrian's Panther's stomped my Bucs, but I think Andrew will have the last laugh. I think the Saints will take it all this year -
Looks like you had a great Christmas. I love Andrew's jersey. Go Saints! (especially Drew Brees).
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great family Christmas! I vote for the Panthers t-shirt.
